@apLundell@octodon.social Holodeck programs didn't get tutorials until Voyager. The doctor's holonovel dropped heavy hints and Seska's take over of insurrection alpha had some instructional elements. In TNG the holodeck characters were lucky if they could get players to show up with money and proper attire.
