So, we're starting from scratch.... After downloading the latest Typica, we need to get Typica to read our J-type thermocouples that are translated by a 1048.0 Phidget on our USRC 12kg. Right now Typica doesn't seem to register this Phidget input for some reason. Should we need to download the fidget software?

@jflanders Right. Without libphidget (21 or 22 will work with the 1048, the phidget21 code in Typica is older and better tested and is described in the current documentation but either should work) Typica can't communicate with the device.
