Tonight's phishing scam email was almost convincing. Most of them are awful but I can easily see how someone could fall for this one. There were two big tip offs.

1. Claiming payment was declined out of sync with my billing cycle
2. You don't log into Linode through what appears to be a German lighting company that apparently needs better security practices.

@professor_stoke The same scam arrived at the shop where someone spent entirely too much time investigating and was on the fence about if this was a scam or not when they forwarded that to me. (they did not click the malicious link and wouldn't have had login credentials if they did) I told them not to feel too bad about that because this appears somewhat targeted and the forgery is quite good.
