@steinbring I don't know about that place in particular, but there are definitely bars that purposefully don't make money. They're a way to create a social venue that also acts as a tax shelter.
@neal We definitely have places like that around here (ie https://rwph.org/) but I think that someone just mismanaged the place somehow.
