Toying with some ideas about software and what "freedom" means.
Can software be liberate, if you need a network connection to run it?
(I don't mean "does it need a network to do anything meaningful", like say nginx. I mean "to execute the program".)
@mhoye Can I control what's on both sides of the network connection? If so, no problem. If not, that's going to become a problem.
