Smaller and less consequential companies keep getting HP brand deals. I assume this is because the well is drying up, with most organizations aware of what HP brand money is supporting and either not wanting to support that or not wanting the consumer blowback.
This brand death spiral suggests a Garfield-esque future for access to the IP, where you can buy literally any object with a wizard face on it but it will reliably be a cheap horrible piece of shit.
