Yesterday I found a programmer I know in the street and he told me he changed company and they have Claude available there so he doesn't have to work much these days. He was happy about it.
I told him I was uninterested by AI and he told me "it works so well!"
I then told him I don't use LSP and I don't have classic syntax highlighting enabled. I'm even more efficient now. I'm not interested in the "latest great thing".
@ekaitz_zarraga I mostly use Kate for programming which does have syntax highlighting, but the code for letting people buy stuff on my shop's site was done in nano over ssh. It worked fine. My own personal preference is to not have the editor take forever to load and not have to fight against auto-anything. Otherwise it doesn't really matter to me and I'll use whatever.
