I'm supposed to be taking this week off to catch up on home maintenance but I ended up working almost a full shift today anyway.

This cat I've been visiting is normally very quiet. Today when I walked in she sat up and opened her mouth as if to greet me, but no sound came out. Contrast with my cat who makes many varied loud vocalizations.

Cat sat on me during today's visit. Unlike the cat I live with, this one likes to stay just out of petting range.

The place I wanted to go for lunch was closed for vacation. Choice #2 screwed up my order.

Switched my living room over to LED bulbs now that I can buy those locally in a shape that doesn't look stupid in the fixture. Thankfully that hasn't been an issue in most of the house.
