Not only does oat seem to be more compatible with my drink line than almond, it's also not going to raise the same kind of allergy flags that an almond milk offering would. Food allergies are a serious concern.
Trying some additional drinks with the oat milk I'm testing as a candidate for a non-cow, non-soy option. It's passed all of my hot drink tests so far, so next I'll be moving on to the cold drink tests. Staff has been asking people who ask for almond milk (it's always almond milk they're asking for) if they're set on almond or if some other non-cow, non-soy option would also be acceptable and they're at least saying that some other alternative would be acceptable. Real test will be if they buy.
YouTube viewer retention data suggests that only about 10% of the people who start watching an episode of Coffee and Code make it to the end of the episode (which makes the 8% of views from someone who hits the like button on the latest episode pretty amazing) so I'm thinking I might chop those episodes up with some of the best excerpts pulled out into separate videos with better titles that then link back to the original video.

Tracking page still says it's estimating that the new roaster will be delivered today but there's no way that's happening when it's still getting cleared through customs. They should have all the information they need (they had all the information they needed from the start) and I think they know that they have all the info they need, but it still needs to go to a closer distribution center before going out for delivery so it probably can't show up before Monday.
While I've failed to find a locally available almond milk that makes an acceptable cappuccino (not asking for recommendations, I know good ones exist that just aren't stocked around here), I don't hate today's oat milk. I need to test some other drinks before going ahead and offering that, but this might be what ends up as my non-cow, non-soy offering.
May want to reconsider the use of AI when it starts to output "Kill All Humans" but I have to admit that Mr. Sinister is a good cat name.
