Error screen wasn't helpful, but going back through the login and lying to say I forgot the password let me fix it before the wait on hold was done.

Bank wouldn't let my sister into the shop's account and wouldn't talk to her because my name is the primary one on the account (never mind that her name is also there) so instead of the problem being fixed (web site says password expired but doesn't offer any way to do anything about that) I'm now on hold for an estimated 30 minutes.

Layout for some parts of the book has become an absolute mess (figures and side bars), but it's pointless to worry about that until the text is right so I'm ignoring that for now.

Continuing to slog through book edits. Some day that will be finished and I can move on to a different project.

I picked the pink seelie because if I'm going to have a pet floaty glowy blob thing following me around on adventures I want it to be seen. The pink one has the best contrast against the rest of the world.

Now I have to wonder why that button was so well hidden on a relatively inaccessible place. Are we living in the world of Max Headroom where the off switch is an illegal feature that needs to be hidden?

Stopped at my mother's house after work to do tech support on her television. The screen was black. The remote was unresponsive. Started feeling around for some control on the TV itself and found a power button positioned half an inch back on the underside such that you have to tilt the set back to fit a finger there. Pressing that resolved the issue.

Someone should revive this game but scrap the story and instead make it literally just a completed version of the Insurrection Alpha holonovel.

Laptop storage space is now down to only about 1TB. That'll still last a while, but that means it's about 2/3 full now.

Plot twist idea: a really grindy mini game where if you get to the top rank in that you're locked into a bad ending for screwing around playing games instead of getting on with the main quest.

Set up a 2nd party with Ganyu, Sucrose, Xinyan, and Barbara. The first three I haven't played much with yet so they're all under-leveled and under-equipped, but it's still a fun group for general exploration.

Was asked if I wanted to teach a class I suggested they do once we're back to in person classes, but that's one of those where I can stand up in front of a class and muddle through it, but they can get other people who will do a better job with that so I passed along a different name for consideration.

SCA is holding off a week before we decide what I'll teach next. We'll see what other classes get pitched. If it's a repeat of the previous one I'll have to source a coffee for it, figure out the roasting plans, and do a bunch of roasting/packing/shipping to get that to students, but the rest of the class materials just need minor updates. If it's the other one I pitched I don't have to ship stuff but I would have to develop a whole new class.

Skipped Albedo's banner to save for Ganyu. That worked out well for me.

Needed to turn off NPR's special coverage of you probably know what. Thankfully I had the foresight to set up the car's sound system so that Miku was one steering wheel button press away.

@monorail I used to be able to recognize pokemon but now there are just too many of them so I only know missingno.
