New video game arrived in the mail today. How new? The version that I got was supposed to release July 3. #NotComplaining

There are two compartments on either side. The round ones on the right are for an extra jar and the doser while the rectangles on the left are for the power cord and a stack of business card sized sample cards. The case also has a pair of handles (one for carrying the case, one that retracts for rolling) and wheels. Pretty sure it's small enough to count as an airplane carry on bag since a lot of people who own these just bring it along on coffee buying trips.

Instructions say they don't need the accessories that came with the machine but I'm still going to send back the travel case since that's going to be more secure than any bubble wrap I have on hand.

Have the shipping label, &c. for the roaster that arrived in a non-functioning state. It should get picked up tomorrow.

What's the worst thing about having the street in front of your house destroyed?

The ongoing street destruction in front of the house is disturbing the cat.

Switching games because I can't Tetris and pet cat at the same time.

The cat has positioned herself for cuddles.

The other day someone on the street wished me a happy father's day. I didn't make a thing of it, but if I am a father, nobody has bothered to inform me of that. (I'd hope I'd know, but it's technically possible that I wouldn't)

Financial math for roasting exercises. If better roasting gets you a bigger quality impact than spending another penny per pound on the raw coffee, it's worth doing the work.

Such material should not be taken as a substitute for doing the exercises yourself, but different people learn in different ways and providing some alternative presentations of the material can help cement the lessons.
