@taweret How many ingredients before you hit paraffin?
@Satsuma I just tried this and could get no visible feedback on option selection from the keyboard but could click the vote button. Could just be me not knowing what I'm doing, though. In my case there's also xdotool from the command line, but it's hard to estimate the screen coordinates of the things you want to click on, though I suppose you could make rulers to tape to the sides of the screen and tie a washer to a bit of string to measure that to get your command line arguments.
Just got the code for free attendance at my next event since I'm teaching a class there. Unless something else comes up super last minute before then my next event is in Portland, OR this April. I'm considering taking the train since Amtrak runs a Chicago to Portland route and I've never done such a long trip by rail.
@debugninja@banana.dog @fireglow Good job, now get yourself banned to make sure it works.
It looks like QuickBooks for Mac no longer saves just as a plain SQLite3 file readable with the usual command line program? I suspect they made the change to make it harder for people to notice how much of a dumpster fire their schema is. It's kind of impressive how poorly they were able to make that perform.
@jacethechicken There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.
Tried out the new bar a block from my shop for lunch today. Historically the area has been a dry district so this is the first bar the street has had in my lifetime. I commented positively in the newspaper about this back when they were getting their permits because otherwise there were 2 places that I could walk to on a lunch break, both of them are pizza places, and one of those historically doesn't know how to manage pest infestations. Anyway, decent bar fare, good prices, will repeat.
@taweret One of my trips to China happened during a winter olympics and nearly all the television coverage of the event I saw there was on the curling so that's either a real sport or a communist conspiracy.
