@russsaidwords Lately it's all been tiny programs running on remote servers, mostly shell scripts and C++ to save myself the trouble of copying the files after editing.

Found the bug in the shell script that I was up until 2AM trying to find.

RPG where the background music is played by your otherwise useless party members. Players are expected to ignore the plot and focus on finding the combination of place and party that results in their ideal soundtrack to study/relax to.

Grocery store was eerily empty tonight, had severe bagel deficiency.

A friend who’s changing her name is being asked to resubmit a bunch of expenses because her billing service doesn’t deal with renaming gracefully, so said “So, cash invalidation and naming people?” and anyway we will hopefully be friends again at some point eventually.

Went into work a little late today because the cat needed to sit on me.

There's a DevOps conference in Animal Crossing today and if any of you were bad-mouthing SL 10 years ago, you are bad and should feel bad.

The cat can't remember why she stuck her leg up.

A long delayed order finally got delivered 2.25 hours after closing. Fortunately, I was still at work and noticed the delivery attempt.

Cat recommends curling up with the cat and having a nap.

Also, that's probably where I'll be teaching the class from so a guest appearance by the cat is likely, but not guaranteed.

Now that registration is open, here's the trailer for my next workshop. I'm surprised by how low they decided to price that as that's a bargain just for the coffee participants get even if it didn't also have the educational aspect.

The cat gets upset when I sit on the wrong side of the couch, but then when I move to the right side she gets really happy.

I'll be staying late at work more now. I'm trying to give everybody on my staff as many hours as they want (but not pressuring them to feel like they have to work if they're not comfortable with that) and one way to do that is letting someone work on stuff during hours when there's no risk of interacting with the public.
