The cat is currently purring rhythmically across 7 octaves simultaneously. No clue how she manages that.

Reports in Typica 2 are now far enough along that I've started actually using those for production planning instead of going to another computer with Typica 1 for that. There's still a little more work to do with this, but for the most part all that's left there is bringing over the reports I want to keep. Some operations no longer require a database round trip and are thus much faster and this also represents a significant reduction in code size.

The cat has once again decided that the inside of my right elbow is the perfect cat pillow.

Left a comment about an awful hacky workaround I'd anticipated needing which did, in fact, turn out to be needed for now. On the plus side, a different related problem that could have existed doesn't seem to, so that saves me a little work.

I miss scroll bars. Can we have real scroll bars back please?

Spent entirely too much time trying to figure out how some stuff valgrind was reporting was at all possible. After failing to sort that out I did a clean build and the problems went away. Ugh.

Replaced about 90 SLOC with about 20 SLOC. The 20 SLOC could be half as large but was spread out so I can understand it when I have to read it again later.

Made some good progress during a night time coding session. Scrapped part of an approach that wasn't working for something that still isn't perfect but at least makes more useful trade offs.

The cat has discovered cheesecake.

Web site update is done to make more coffees available to buy there. Waiting on a mailing list update preview before sending that out (I like to give it one more proof read in a proper email client before sending that). Mailing list subscribers are up again compared with when the last update went out. That's pretty much always the case since it's a very low volume list.

I guess I did a little better than I thought. Was still decently high at 129, got in a few more attempts to move back up to #18. Still not all that happy with the runs and still expect to drop quite a bit before it's over.

This morning I was ranked #1 on a pinball tournament, not because I was any good at the game but because I was one of the first people to post a score. I expect my position has dropped at least a few hundred spots by now.
