So I guess the next server to set up is code hosting. That, at least, I can go with something smaller.

The presentation template for retreat this year is very yellow.

Might want to move this to a beefier server a little sooner to speed up the transcode jobs. Oh well, playing some more Atelier Lydie & Suelle while I wait.

Letting the transcode finish before I hit the publish button, but if anybody wants to see some coffee roasting videos as they go up, I think you can follow @neal@video.typica.us to see those in your timeline.

Watching the server transcode its first video.

Needed to modify /dist/server/lib/emailer.js to get mail sending set up on peertube because I couldn't figure out how to get it to not fail on the mail server's self signed cert through regular settings. Added rejectUnauthorized: false to the tls object and that made everything happy.

Tomorrow I'm getting a free dining room furniture upgrade. A contractor friend has a client who needed to get rid of some a nice table/chairs/buffet and same contractor will find a place for my existing table/chairs since I don't need/have space for two sets.

Still need to upload content and do a little more configuration work (email is not configured), but video.typica.us is live. It's a new instance that will have stuff related to my software as well as coffee/coffee roasting stuff in general.

@Blender is testing out a peertube instance in response to the blockade youtube imposed on their videos. video.blender.org @blender

I miss the days when my spam included messages trying to sell me full scale animatronic dinosaurs (which they understood I was in the market for [I wasn't in the market for those]).

Today's spam included a company trying to sell "website scraping with python" and I'm wondering why any coffee shop needs to go around scraping web sites and why any company that thinks it needs to scrape web sites wouldn't have someone on staff who can script that.

A former employee is getting married and I'm roasting coffee for the wedding.

Rain and thunder outside. I'm roasting coffee inside.

Working on blend updates today. Also finished editing a script for a new video for Typica's landing page. I'll probably record that after work and get a start on editing.

A small child was very interested in watching me refill a stapler.

Call scheduled for Wednesday for a follow up interview. This will be the 2nd time I've been interviewed in Roast. Hopefully people will find it interesting.
