Tried hooking up the external display on the new computer at the roasters and it didn't work. Turns out the problem was that Dell didn't bother to ship a driver (because what, you expect all the ports on your new computer to work?). Once I noticed the ultra-generic driver it was using and installed one from the chip's manufacturer it started working.

Have been asked for photos to go with an article that someone else wrote for Fresh Cup Magazine. They want it by Monday but I'll try to pull a few choices together within the next couple days.

Ordered a replacement laptop pre-loaded with Linux. I've tried this Mac (originally purchased just for building and testing new releases of Typica) for over half a year and while it's nice for some things I just can't get over this sense of reduced overall productivity. Plus, System76 is having a sale and I've had good experiences with their stuff.

Need to find some time soon to upgrade my PeerTube instance. I have captions that I can add to some of the stuff there.

Was sold a defective can of spray paint (missing the spray head). Need to get that replaced.

Set Uta Macross speed faster, started playing better. Okay, then.

Tonight the cat is alternating between being a too hot puddle of liquid cat and insisting on sitting on me for cuddles.

I need to roast more coffee. There are orders to put together and shelves to fill.

Slammed through the run through of the class I'm teaching soon with my station instructors. That went a little faster than expected, but everybody seems to be good with the changes that I made for this event.

Made 2 sandwiches.

I should make a sandwich.

Getting in some last minute tweaks to my class before the run through with station instructors. When I first designed this I tried to make it easy to customize for different events that might have different machines/number of stations/time constraints/&c. and that's paying off now.

Presentation template for retreat this year is very yellow.

Went into work early today because it was move everything in the store before it opens day. The cat seemed confused as I was leaving.

Test batch with the new computer hooked up at the roaster landed perfectly on spec.

I've got the new machine as far set up as it's going to get today. It's working with both roasters, the batch tag printer is set up. All that's left is to bring in an HDMI cable since the new machine doesn't have a VGA port for the external display.
