went into work early to look over a machine staff was worried about, called a service company whose tech replied, "I'm not touching that," stayed late to do enough of a repair myself, enjoying a test oat milk cappuccino to verify the repair work, the cat will be mad at me for being out extra long.

@cwebber @ptvirgo @lxoliva If I only ran software I trust, I wouldn't run any software, ever.

Remember several days ago when there was a giant raccoon in the back yard? Now there are at least 5. It's a raccoon family sniffing around my yard! 😍

I haven't measured the ground color but the default pre-programmed roasting plan it comes with gets the coffee to a 58 exterior on the gourmet scale which is right on the standard sample roasting spec. I'll need to mess around with this to get something a little closer on the timing to my standard and I'd like to also see about matching my standard for evaluating the potential of a coffee sample for espresso preparation among other things.

The repaired sample roaster arrived and now it has successfully roasted a couple batches of coffee.

(the cat doesn't speak English, but I was raised by a cat so I understand a bit of their language; this was a translation from cat to English)

This morning the cat wanted to speak with me in the kitchen.

"I notice you've put the last of the old bag of cat food in my dish, but there's a brand new unopened bag of cat food available. You should give me some of that."

So I did and she started eating.

Everything that I ordered with the espresso machine except for the espresso machine itself has arrived. It took way too much torque to get the spouts on the spare double portafilter to line up properly (I needed it to go another 3/4 around). The triple is bottomless so that's much less of an issue (the new machine should have a single, two doubles, and a triple available to use).

Today I provided email support to someone who is using a version of my software that's over 6 years old. I think he'd benefit from upgrading to the latest version (I've added a lot of useful stuff in the past 6 years) but it's his choice and if he wants to just move the old version that's working for him onto a new computer, there's nothing wrong with that.

Got 2 butt dials from a contractor doing some work on my house.

It reminds me of the time I got a butt dial from Dubai. I never did ask that guy what his phone plan was like. That could have been an expensive mistake.

A marketing company wanted pictures of some caffé lattés (they're working for another company in the area doing some kind of client gift via phone app thing. The company they're working for requested bringing my company in and I've decided to let them try that) so now I have all these lattés to drink.

Roaster is back in the US. If it weren't for customs it could get delivered tomorrow, but I'm not counting on that.

Will the Raspberry Pi 4 make 2019 the year of dual 4K screens on the Linux coffee roaster?

Found the last of the three hidden rooms I missed in Bloodstained. The last one was hidden under a floor and contained a Santa Hat.

Next up there are 8 demons that I haven't gotten all the drops from yet. Six of them should be easy enough to farm but the other two take longer to get to between attempts and one of them is still dangerous.
