Have the external optical drive plugged in to rip some fresh driving music. I still think it's neat that I can just use the file manager to drag and drop virtual MP3s from CD and the ripping and transcoding just happens in the background as part of the file copy operation. #kde

Trying the gift beer and yeah, it's quite tasty. I can taste the coffee and overall it's very smooth and easy to drink. Pairs well with cheesecake.

Bought a supply of driving snacks and beverages for the trip to GA. I'll want to stop for a real meal at some point but having some stuff I can grab without taking my eyes off the road will be essential.

It looks like I might have a shortage of station instructors for my next class so I've been working out equivalent roasting plans for the IKAWA that can be done ahead of time with minimal coffee to fill in on the tasting side. One of the nice things about this is that I can publish those plans for people to replicate the exercise with their own coffees.

A customer dropped off a gift bottle of beer. He says it's the best porter he's ever brewed and it's made with my decaffeinated Sumatran coffee. Beer that I get paid for is my favorite kind, so now I need to adjust my dinner plans so I can enjoy that tonight.

The last time I tried the tickets weren't on sale yet, but I tried again today and was able to buy tickets for the local university's foreign film series. I've signed up for what is historically their least popular show time.

Looks like online ordering won't be going live todayish as planned. My sister (the other 50% of company ownership) is concerned that I'm leaving town soon and wants me on site a little longer after that's available publicly. It's frustrating that she couldn't come up with that concern until after the work was finished and ready to go despite extra stuff I did to make sure my being remote wouldn't be a problem.
