Today I got a text message referencing a photo of a screen showing a video of me from someone who works with someone I've worked on education projects with who wanted to know if they knew me. Apparently I came across as a cool roasting teacher, but the video also had my cat in the background which I'm pretty sure makes me seem cooler. (at the very least, my cat thinks I'm cool)
I know that's structurally awful. I'm not editing it.

The city is going to be requiring people to wear masks starting Monday. I expect the courts (with a judge I would have voted against had he not been running unopposed) will say the city can't do that, but as a business I can say we're requiring that for entry (don't like it? Phone order with contactless pickup for you or take your manufactured outrage to one of my competitors). We did a tally today and it looks like about 1/3 of customers were bare faced.
