My car is expected to be ready to pick up some time on Friday assuming the parts show up on schedule. Insurance is covering most of the repair costs, so in all not too awful. Of course, it would have been better had the inattentive speeder not slammed into the back of my car.

Bought another 2500ish pounds of coffee today as planned. Some is coming from the east coast, some is coming from the west coast, so all of it will take longer to show up than when the coffee is warehoused in Madison.

Me sitting down in front of any DAW: where is anything?

Firis' Tent utilizes the same sort of technology that allows entire villages, castles, and dungeons to exist in only one square of an overworld map in a lot of the old 8/16 bit console RPGs.

Now that YouTube is sort of willing to tell me where that massive spike in views on an old video came from, they're claiming it's from Google search (keywords undisclosed), and now I'm wondering why a couple hundred people would suddenly decide in the same half day to search for and watch a thing I made 8 years ago.

Dropped off the car at the repair shop. I'll be borrowing someone else's car for probably at least a week.

Found my music recording cables. Might play around with making some new background music for my next video.

Have you reminded your cat that they are a good cat today?

Will be ordering another 2500ish pounds of coffee on Monday. Just replacements of things that are already on the shelf. Guatemalan coffees are unavailable through the web site until I get that shipment in and that'll be new crop. I didn't contract enough of that last year, but enough other places were long on their contracts that I could take their coffees until the new contract started.

My mother has offered to let me use her car while mine is in for repair since she's biking distance from everywhere she goes and knows that if she needs me to take her somewhere I will. Saves me from figuring out a rental because she has the same car I do. Even the same color.

The Miku concert in Chicago that got rescheduled for September is now a TBD April-May, which I think is a sane decision. They're still selling the fancy multi-colored glow sticks that they couldn't keep in stock for her last tour that hit Chicago.

Today's deliveries included this box of mostly free cat toys. (some cats enjoy these cardboard packing materials)

New furnace filters are on the way. The shop is going to try switching from MERV 8 to MERV 13, expect the filters to require changing about twice as often.

The cat likes clicky keyboards. She mashes her face into the keys to hear them click.
