Earlier at the event someone asked me if a particular type of control system could be developed (extremely niche use case, but technically possible) and today someone told me about a thing they're developing which would (provided it works) make the initial setup of that quite a bit easier. Done with teaching for this event. Time for lunch.

Instructors were all told we'd have HDMI but I was the only one to bring a cable so all the roasting workshops (not CSP) have gone through my cable.

Was given some green coffee. Grown in Veracruz then taken to a drier part of the country for natural processing. Looking forward to roasting and tasting that.

State Department email says my new passport is on the way so I'll again be available for international gigs.

Was given a very nice cupping spoon today. Anne gave me one of these last year so now I have a matching set for skimming. Also, a Coffee Roasters Guild member pin.

Very pleased with how the classes today went. Minds were blown.

Students are at the machines. Roast Level Exploration and Profile Design

was handed a bunch of hemp milk on my way out of the party. I suppose I'll have to drink that before I leave town.
