Okay, I was wrong about people not going for the banana bread. Everything mostly sold out.

All the scones sold, all the blueberry muffins sold, all the cupcakes sold, there's 1 slice of cheesecake left, most of the lemon poppyseed muffins have sold, most of the rice crispy treats sold. The only thing people don't seem to want today is the banana chocolate chip bread.

Did a morning cat visit after getting the shop open. I needed a nap.

The cheesecake sank, but it's delicious so that sort of surface imperfection can be fixed with some topping.

Cranberry orange scones and lemon poppyseed muffins turned out well.

The cheesecake is a bit of a gamble, though. It's been a long time since I made one and they've always been a bit fussy for me.

I'll be running the kitchen at the shop over the weekend while my sister recovers from her muscle pain. Will need to wake up early tomorrow to get food ready for opening, but there's a lot I can prep today to help that go smoothly.

Going to try making a cheesecake.

My cat, on the other hand, does not go after human food. I think it's because she was eating from my trash can before I knew a cat had moved into the house and that didn't agree with her.

Dad's cat will be happy. I ordered a pizza. She likes pizza and will enjoy attempting to hunt it even though I don't let her eat it.

Today a spammer sent me 21 copies of exactly the same email, mostly in bunches of 4-5 sent within the same minute.

If you've ever had trouble getting a human at a business on the phone, blame the people selling credit card processing. My staff bounces enough of those calls every day that it would be worth sticking a robot on the line just for them to say nothing of all the other cold call junk.

Took my sister to the hospital. Nothing too awful I expect, but needs a professional.
