Nothing kills an Uta Macross session like the orientation sensors deciding you've flipped the device upside down mid-song on higher difficulty levels when you're on track to full combo.

PeerTube is really close to their €45,000 goal, which includes work on federated subscriptions:

Let's support them and make decentralized video even greater!

The site update that will happen with the 1.9.1 release is going to add recurring payment support so people who want to support ongoing development of Typica financially can choose between 1 time payments (just like are currently available) and monthly payments.

I hope that some day the people who want me to improve free software I've written will collectively provide me with a budget that I can use to cover costs associated with that work.

Any time I'm working on code on and off over an extended amount of time before testing I get unreasonably excited when that works exactly as expected.

Enjoying a nice oolong tea.

Browser spell checker doesn't think oolong is a word; wants to suggest oblong, Woolongong, longing, Long, or long.

code editors with auto-indent as a rule have trash defaults for switch blocks

Pricked a finger doing yard work this morning. I should probably get some gloves.

Had to detour around a bouncy house on the way home.

Spent some time with a coffee farmer visiting from Guatemala. He knew that I wasn't looking for a new supplier but we roasted and cupped his coffee and had a good conversation about that.

Air conditioner at work isn't keeping up and I'm drinking hot coffee because that's an important part of my job. Recently switched to a new lot of coffee from Costa Rica, designed 2 roasts. I can now confirm that the production test batches are delicious.

I have bonus slides that can get worked into the lecture proper, but hopefully I can also get more student interaction/questions/&c. from this group. The group in April was pretty shy.
