Someone sent a tech support question today. I asked them to paste into the terminal:

ps -A | grep postgres

and they say that fixed the problem, which is of course impossible but hey, fixed is fixed.

This brings total donations for the year up to $225, which at least puts this at more than what I've paid for hosting so far this year.

Someone sent another $50 in support of Typica development today. I think this might be a new person, so I should see if they left an email address and I can send them an invite to social.typica.us

Other stuff that was up in the air with potentially bad timing has also been resolved so I'm feeling a lot less stressed today.

So at the same time someone was telling me that maybe they should not ship the replacement part causing me to freak out because I need this fixed /before/ I leave the country for a couple weeks, the part had in fact already shipped and it's just that nobody thought to maybe send me the tracking number so I can stop stressing about that.

vendor stress

Reminded the vendor that I needed them to ship the fan so it could arrive before I left the country and they interpreted that as hold until after I'm back. Like, no, I need a working machine. Ship the damn part.

@Taweret Also, speaking of Kira being awesome, I think a Bajoran Resistance series could be the best prequel series.

Last night the cat was walking over me while I was trying to sleep. It's too bad that I can't train her to give a massage.

And now I'm back to the computer just randomly shutting itself off when the fan fails completely. I can't work like this.

Computer is back in continuously trying to shake itself apart and making loud noises mode. I still don't have a tracking number for the replacement fan and am running out of time before I go on my next trip.

Freya: What can I do for my kingdom?
Zidane: *loots the kingdom*

Fan is back to squeaking and grinding. No tracking number on the new one yet either.

Cat wanted to be carried around the house tonight.
