The cat has decided that it's time for me to pet the cat.

Spent some time designing some new features for the shop's web store and working out how that's going to impact the database that drives that. I tried to minimize changes to existing tables and it looks like I only need to add one new column to one existing table. Everything else can be done with more tables, which I'm going to prefer on this project.

I have one of those tiny little USB storage thingies that's small enough I can keep it plugged into my laptop most of the time, but I recently noticed that it's really hard to pull out of other devices so I've tied a phone charm on it which makes that much easier to handle. I had one featuring Nisa that came with a video game (Disgaea 4, I think) still sitting unused in its original packaging. Usability has greatly improved.

Videos showing bugs in games go to my PeerTube server and not to other platforms because every so often a publisher goes insane and if they're going to pull that with me again they'll have to do it on my turf. Here's an unintentional glitch in Death end re;Quest 2. Pro tip: don't name your kid Rotten.

Every time there's another Genshin Impact survey I use it as another opportunity to press for adding the ability to pet the cats and dogs. They look up to the traveler and clearly want some attention.

food mention, thanksgiving

Thanksgiving food with the cat plan: a fresh batch of samosas, a chicken pot pie, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.

I've lost track. How many months has it been Black Friday this year so far?

Somehow ended up breaking a scene in Death end re;Quest 2. Text failed to appear, but turning on auto continue moved the scene along despite the lack of text/voice. Skip scene was also still an option. The scene worked fine on the first play through. Might upload the glitch later. Also, changing the opening movie after you win was a nice touch.

So far, our least popular yoga cat cocoa tin has been the mint flavor, which seems strange since cats love mint.

Apparently the latest fad in scam emails are fake Amazon gift cards.

Once I ordered a bunch of a cheap ICs for a project and instead of getting what I ordered they sent that many USB cables (the warehouse had them stocked in the wrong place and I guess the pickers aren't given enough time to notice that). The cables were more expensive than what I ordered, but not worth enough to bother with sending a call tag so I still have a whole bunch of mostly unused legacy full size USB cables to pull out if someone loses their old scanner or printer cable I guess.

Bad copy/paste job or a prediction of the US becoming a British colony?

Fun fact: Klee's mom wrote the Teyvat Travel Guide. That explains a lot.

It sounds like the cat had an exciting day while I was at work today.

stuff that ought to be on American money:

Bison, because they're cool and look stately as fuck
The Grand Canyon: Because come on. It's the goddamn grand canyon.
John Brown.
The Virginia Opossum: :yell:
The Mona Ground Iguana: To give Puerto Rico some love
Starfleet Headquarters: Just to give us something to shoot for

TFW you realize your connection to a local server that you know is working just fine was failing because you consistently typo'd the wrong IP address.
