Arrived at work in the middle of a surprise dish washer delivery. The way this was supposed to go is that we'd be notified of when the delivery was scheduled so we could have the plumber remove the old one so that could be taken away, but that didn't happen so we'll just have the one plumber visit to disconnect the old one and connect the new one and the delivery people will have to come back to take away the old unit.
As of approximately 2:40AM there was a massive line apparently trying to use a Wendy's drive through. I had no idea they were even open that early (or maybe they weren't which is how the line got so big as it seemed to be the same size when I turned to go to the post office and after I was done with the post office) and it seems weird that this would be a hugely popular time to get fast food. Is there some kind of weird promotion going on? They're never that busy during normal eating times.
Attempt at redoing the repair failed. Fortunately I'm a strong believer in redundancy on business critical equipment so there's an alternative that works, just not as well and I've ordered proper replacement parts. Yes, it's 1:48AM and I'm still at work. Sometimes being a business owner is like that.
Got a bunch of boxes of cans of tea in today. This is good as someone got overzealous with the recycling and I've been pretty much out of good boxes to ship things in. The cans of tea arrive in boxes that are exactly the right size for 2 pound coffee orders, which ended up being a very common order size after enabling sales through the web site (phone orders averaged larger).
