Tonight the cat keeps sitting up, saying meow, and then tipping over onto her back.

Collecting some data to illustrate some more advanced coffee roasting concepts and I just did an 8 minute roast to an end temperature of 502F (about 40F hotter than my darkest production roast). 22.4% mass loss, gourmet scale 20.5. I don't recommend replicating that at home (if you want it that dark, it's probably better to spend more time and get there at a lower temperature).

New business cards arrived today. I was aiming for something simpler than the old design and note space on the back. Getting rid of logos was a conscious decision.

This looked dubious until I realized that for some reason I was seeing a graph of views over the past 8 minutes. Now I wonder why anybody would think this is a useful thing to display.

There's a film crew at the shop all day today. They're doing a portfolio piece but I think I'll be able to upload that to PeerTube when they're finished. They're scheduled for filming another day later in the month.

According to YouTube Studio my videos typically get a weird gigantic spike in watch time after they've been up for about half a year. The one that's become the most watched coffee roasting video that actually provides good information on that site didn't get much for views in its first year. Now I just tell people to watch my stuff on video.typica.us/ but nobody does. :cirnoPeek:
