Today I was asked if I'd like to teach the most recent class I developed again at an event in April so I guess I'm going to Boston in April.

When I continued after clearing Timespinner the first time it dropped me at a place where I could go right to picking up a 2nd ending.

NG+ even at a harder difficulty (except not really because I'm stupidly overpowered now) is going a lot faster. Found a few new things this run through.

Will probably go for the platinum trophy eventually. Not sure if I'll need to do a third play through to finish that up.

@caprimoon @Taweret@octodon.social And DS9 doesn't suffer from those finicky biological computer components, so yeah, that's probably workable. You'd need a pretty decent sized space to make it work at restaurant scale but that doesn't seem to be an issue.

@caprimoon @Taweret@octodon.social Opinions seem mixed. Neelix had problems specifically with cheese. That might just be Neelix being awful, but I think I'm going to stick with the view that you can't get good cheese from Bajor (they're probably making it but not exporting it to the station since food shortages were still a problem on the planet and pizza cheese can be produced quickly for safer and easier distribution and storage vs. milk).

I went home to grab something I forgot I needed to bring with me today and there was a cat in the back yard.

@Taweret@octodon.social I know the owner of a local pizza place. Several years ago he told me that he wanted to move to Arizona and open a pizza place there, but was put off because he visited places there where he couldn't see what they were doing wrong to cause whatever problem he had with their pizza. It's established that replicated food is not considered as good so it could be an ingredient issue. Maybe Bajor doesn't have good cheese?

Last night I finished up my first full play through of Timespinner. I spent about 10 hours total on that (I was a bit on the slow side, probably because I did a lot of back tracking and optional stuff), did not find everything, and it looks like there's at least 3 more endings with one of these probably being a minor variation of the one I went for. It was fun and odds are good that I'll give it a couple more NG+ replays to at least get the different endings.

I feel like most places on the Internet vastly underestimate the number of people who would like to be cats.

Now that Mastodon has bot tagging, how long before we get Misskey's "This account is a cat" (can be combined for bot cats) feature?

@jk When did easier to use start to mean make most of the features utterly undiscoverable?

Ordered about 1500 pounds of coffee today. I'm a little upset because I asked them to let me know when one of these coffees was available and I never got the return call on that. I would have placed the order sooner and bought more had they followed through on that.

Two packages arrived from out of the country today. Sometimes the customs forms are strange. One of these was labeled as a gift of "car alarm" which isn't even close. In this case there's no difference in taxes or tariffs to explain it so I imagine they're just shipping everything as "car alarm" because they don't English and it's just easier that way.

Overnight the cat kept shifting closer to my face.

@professor_stoke Thanks. While there are more options now, when I started working on that Typica was the only free software of its type. It was also the first cross platform (not tied to Windows) option for roasters who wanted something like this.

After dinner I'll try to stay awake and draw new graphs.

@professor_stoke It's really basic stuff. Not that interesting. Mostly going from calculating % weight loss to calculating green needed to produce a desired amount of roasted, getting numbers to plug into cost calculations, &c.
