Dog: Am I a good dog? Will you pet me? Can I have a treat?
Girl: You're a good dog, but the game developers won't let me pet you or give you a treat.

Another dev survey, another opportunity to request cat/dog petting as a feature.

Late night at work. This time for maintenance that's impractical to do while the shop is open.

One of my customers thinks she might have a cat that looks like mine that similarly broke into her house (she's only seen the tail). I guess that's what grey cats do now. They see a place they want to move into and just let themselves in and are like, "I live here now."

United States Politics

@gudenau@mastodon.technology The pens are traditionally given to guests as souvenirs.

Can we still have the taco trucks?

I really want taco trucks. 🌮

Teller at the credit union drive through looked at my written instructions, verbally confirmed correctly what I wanted, proceeded to deposit to the wrong account. (also one of my accounts so I can just do a transfer through their web site, but I shouldn't have to)

@Taweret@octodon.social What's Palpatine's take on Diagnosis Murder?

Accountant is coming out tomorrow so of course I got the tax planner in an email today. Related: apparently password protected PDFs are a thing and Okular handles them just fine.

The shop is a little bit understaffed today so I'm theoretically bar help, but business is also on the slow side so I'm spending most of the time doing book editing.

A customer is recharging his wheelchair in my shop because the medical place down the street wouldn't let him. He offered to pay for the electricity, but I figure it's no different than customers charging their phones or laptops or plugging in their sewing machines, which was very common back when I had in store seating (the sewing machine thing less so since the fabric store across the street turned into a beauty salon, but I used to have people doing their homework for classes last minute).

Dear spammers, please stop trying to sell me SEO. It's never gonna happen.

Went into my iPass account to swap in the new (to me) car for the old one since I'm finally finishing up with getting the old one sold today. Oddly, the transponder was on the account but there wasn't a car listed at all. Still need to get some replacement fasteners to mount that properly. My last planned trip to Chicago got cancelled and I don't have another one scheduled so there's no urgency to that. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting stuck with someone else's toll.

For context, a large tea order for me would still only be a few hundred pounds.

Placed a small tea order. (For me small is 35 pounds)
