Unloaded another couple thousand pounds of coffee today. 2 trucks delivered that this morning.

Got some time on the lab roaster today to try out an idea for what might be this year's Holiday Blend coffee. Will do some tasting tomorrow.

Officially sold out of the competition coffee. I still have some bagging leftovers available for brewing.

This would have been better if the tasks matched the quest description. #AtelierShallie

Thinking I might want to just order a pizza tonight instead of cooking.

In other coffee news, I'm down to my last half pound of the competition coffee for whoever comes in and grabs that first. I'll probably bring in a different limited edition offering in early November. I'm also working on figuring out what this year's Holiday Blend is going to be and hope to have that out for sale soon.

Ordered more coffee. Some is just direct replacements of coffees already in the product line, but there are some changes coming. We're going to let ourselves run out of decaf Mexican coffee, replacing that with a nice decaf Brazilian coffee. The next lot of coffee from Java won't be a peaberry. Kenya AB will be replaced in the line with a Tanzanian peaberry.

That's exactly how I ended up living with a cat.

September was the best month yet for online sales. That works out to about an extra day of sales, so not huge, but worth doing.

Definitely my least expensive car repair.

Successfully performed auto repair. One of the bolts holding my rear license plate was missing this morning, but an employee at the hardware store was able to find a close enough match.

My phone is ringing a lot today, but it's all from numbers that I don't recognize so I'm hitting ignore and none of them are leaving voicemail. I'm assuming it's political spam (I've already decided how I'm voting, all a phone call will accomplish is annoying me, please stop).

That ~50 is 55 lines as I typed it, but that includes things like blank lines for readability and no golfing.

Someone asked me about the possibility of getting support for another piece of hardware in Typica. I don't like to write code for hardware that I don't have, but Typica's feature set is sufficiently ridiculous that I was able to throw together what's basically a device driver in ~50 short lines of not quite JavaScript that can be pasted into their roaster configuration and we'll see if that works for them.

Big orange cat seems to be a regular evening visitor to the back yard.

Competition coffee is no longer available to buy through the web site. Anybody who wants some will need to either pick it up in person or place an order over the phone during normal business hours. I still have half pound bags and a couple pound bags left from today's batch, but I don't want to accidentally sell more of this than I have while I'm asleep.

Last batch roasted. I'll probably disable web orders for that some time tonight, but phone orders will be accepted as long as the coffee still exists (won't be long and it'll be what was roasted today).

The guy working on my house accidentally locked the cat away from her stuff so that was an unpleasant surprise when I got home.
