Ran the tracking number on my undelivered coffee and the web page says they're planning to deliver between 8:00AM and 15:00AM (!?) tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

The coffee that didn't get delivered in its window yesterday also didn't get delivered today. I should ask my supplier to look into what happened with that.

I like to pretend that I’m a Mastodon admin but in reality it’s just a single user instance and I have no idea what I’m doing.

Okay, it's actually several really basic instruments and because of the way this works I get events spread out over several channels which leads to odd results. If I set one instrument to all the channels that should work better, but still not as well as something that's designed for MPE.

New thing arrived today. It sort of works with my laptop but I only have 1 kind of crummy synth installed for testing that doesn't really allow for everything this is capable of. It'll work better hooked up to stuff I've got at home.

My sister bought wrapping paper with sloths on it.

Credit union keeps trying to sell me accidental death and dismemberment insurance. I live alone with a cat. The cat is not going to be able to navigate the claims process.

Sadly, it's just not practical to expect everybody to write their own software.

It's almost closing time. I don't think the coffee delivery is really happening today.

Every time someone asks me for technical support I'm reminded of reasons I don't use whatever garbage they're asking for help with.

Today's coffee has not been delivered within its delivery window. It seemed weird that they wanted such a small window on the same date so maybe there was some miscommunication from staff.

The light up promotional pen that some random company sent in the hopes that I'd buy more no longer lights up. There's no obvious way to open the pen to see about replacing a battery. The light feature did not last very long so I think not buying these to give out was the right decision.

Why do cats love the taste of chlorine bleach?

The closer I get to finishing up my coffee roasting book the more I'm glad that this is going to be a thing that exists. I spent a lot of time hoping someone else would write it so I could just recommend that instead of needing to do the work myself, but there are a few books for the coffee industry that ought to exist that don't seem to and nobody qualified seems to be working on them (I know at least half a dozen people who should write roasting books and only one of them has).
