Here's how machine #2 came off the installer's van.

Left half of new machine #2 of 2, power light on. The espresso switches turn blue when they're on but the switch blocks enough of that light so it's not obnoxious.

Both machines are up and running and we're doing all drinks half price through Sunday.

Finished up another chunk of code while waiting. The programs I'm writing lately are tiny and separate but related so I'm taking them one at a time, making it work, and then breaking out the stuff I can reuse and generally cleaning things up before testing that it still works, then moving on to the next thing.

Espresso machines are late. It's raining so I'm not too concerned yet.

At work early today so that I'll be here when the espresso machines show up. Sharing a kringle with staff because I don't need to eat a whole kringle.

AFK: Unconscious with cat

I've had entirely too much human interaction today. Looking forward to going home and having a nap with the cat.

I recently met the new manager of one of the area Starbucks locations. She's in my shop a couple times a day. It's a popular place for people who work at what some might consider competing shops but I don't read too much into that. Sometimes you want the thing you do at work but don't want to be at your workplace to get it.

I prefer to taste coffee in the dark. Leaving the lights off helps me focus non-visual senses.

Did 3 interviews today. I still have a couple more people to interview before picking which people get offered the jobs first.
