There were three samples. The first was not a bad coffee, just one with an extremely common flavor profile. I can get something equivalent from pretty much anybody selling coffee from that country. The second had quite a few red flags that warn me away from it. It's the sort of coffee that less experienced tasters might think are really good when evaluating a sample but then discover it's kind of nasty in production. The third one lacked dry fragrance, but everything else was fantastic.
Last night I sent an email to someone who sent me some coffee samples. Oddly, the reply didn't come with a sales pitch for the one coffee that I said was exceptionally good. I took a while to bother running the samples through the roaster on account of the prevalence of physical defects on the coffees I enjoyed less so maybe they already sold it all (plus it's not like I asked about pricing and such since I already work with too many suppliers, which I mentioned before he sent the samples).
Tried to heal, got struck by lightning instead. #GenshinImpact

I'm not at all surprised by this. The place has been mis-managed for a long time, pulling stuff like kicking out long time tenants right after they've done a contractually required renovation because a bigger store (that's also not there anymore) wanted the space, vending machines to compete with their food vendors, bad rent terms that make it really hard for smaller stores to break even, &c. So it's mostly empty. Unless you want Miku shirts or pretzels.
Got my shot. #covid
