Reading through the Qt 6.5 LTS release announcement. Most of it isn't relevant to anything that I do, but it looks like the QML Qt Quick Controls TableView got almost everything on my wish list (there's at least one area where the widget based version provided a far superior API that's not called out so I might have to keep my kludge for that but I'll look into it), so that's fantastic. I'll want to start using that right away.
Opened up a project I'd been working on and saw a bunch of errors. Somehow one of my headers did not contain what I thought it contained and just had some autogenerated boilerplate that I needed exactly none of and now I'm wondering if I just hallucinated writing that code or what. Easy fix at least.
Arrived at work in the middle of a surprise dish washer delivery. The way this was supposed to go is that we'd be notified of when the delivery was scheduled so we could have the plumber remove the old one so that could be taken away, but that didn't happen so we'll just have the one plumber visit to disconnect the old one and connect the new one and the delivery people will have to come back to take away the old unit.
As of approximately 2:40AM there was a massive line apparently trying to use a Wendy's drive through. I had no idea they were even open that early (or maybe they weren't which is how the line got so big as it seemed to be the same size when I turned to go to the post office and after I was done with the post office) and it seems weird that this would be a hugely popular time to get fast food. Is there some kind of weird promotion going on? They're never that busy during normal eating times.
Attempt at redoing the repair failed. Fortunately I'm a strong believer in redundancy on business critical equipment so there's an alternative that works, just not as well and I've ordered proper replacement parts. Yes, it's 1:48AM and I'm still at work. Sometimes being a business owner is like that.
