I also found a really nice map of Ethiopia that I was given during my first trip there.

Found my first coffee roaster while cleaning the basement. This was useful to demonstrate the changes coffee goes through in roasting before we were roasting our own. It also had some time roasting samples, but the control on this is limited and consistency is bad. Eventually I was able to do better roasting samples in a production roaster (basically roasting by sound as that's so far below minimum batch size that visuals and instruments are unavailable). These days I have something appropriate.

Why do I have so many partial rolls of teflon tape?

This is clearly what you'd choose if you wanted fediverse pyjamas.

She didn't pick the fabric featuring among other animals an elephant in spandex and a crocodile with an anarchist symbol on its cape.

Took my sister out for lunch today. After that we went to a fabric store where she got a dinosaurs on a topographic map fabric that she's going to try turning into a skirt.

Another Atelier Rorona DX glitch: Ster Highlands Dragon Lair, it's possible to get on the wrong side of the area entrance. Enemies can walk through, but you can't cross over to the gathering points. Since you're not supposed to be there at all it's possible to walk off the path and fall off the mountain. I didn't find anything down there and once you fall far enough the game drops you from the sky back onto land, still on the wrong side of the entrance.

Things I can't use because they now belong to my cats:

My electric blanket
My couch
My robe

Drive home was about 3x longer than it should be due to train just being stopped. That's been happening more often lately and it makes too many drivers act like complete idiots.

DS9 wants you to think there's a currency based economy happening on the station but it's secretly a convoluted RPG fetch quest based economy.

Reading a food label, pineapple is listed under "vegetables". Pineapple is a berry, not a vegetable.

Right now I've got tools in several not very good places. This is large enough that I can put all the tools here, has enough compartments that things can be organized reasonably, and there are wheels so I can just roll it to whatever machine I'm working on. Everything also locks, though I'm not sure how much use that feature will get.

I can never find it, but back during all those clown sightings there was an article where a sheriff was telling people not to worry because "he believed it wasn't real clowns, just people in clown outfits" and I think about that all the time
