Tried out the new bar a block from my shop for lunch today. Historically the area has been a dry district so this is the first bar the street has had in my lifetime. I commented positively in the newspaper about this back when they were getting their permits because otherwise there were 2 places that I could walk to on a lunch break, both of them are pizza places, and one of those historically doesn't know how to manage pest infestations. Anyway, decent bar fare, good prices, will repeat.

Deposited some money to the credit union and noticed that the balance was 18 cents more than expected. Sure enough, an 18 cent royalty payment.

Idea for fediverse devs: an option so that avatar changes don't apply immediately, but slowly (perhaps make it adjustable with preview) morph from the old one to the new one over time.

Cooking another batch of chai concentrate.

My sister picked up some new wrapping paper for the shop so people who don't want to wrap their own coffee or tea related present can pay me to do that. One of the new designs is dinosaurs wearing scarves and hats. That's the design I'm going to recommend.

The bunny clock is cute but if you're going to leave food in the microwave for a few days, that's probably beyond what bunny clock can fix.

The cat mostly only greets me at the front door when I come home from work at the end of the day. If I go home for lunch she can't be bothered to get off the couch.

I seem to be building another web app in C++. Each time I do that it gets a little more pleasant.

When I say that company doesn't know how packing material works, I mean it. Often times they don't bother with it, but I've also gotten shipments where the shipping box was filled with the breakable mugs lining the edge of the box with some paper to keep those from sliding around protected safely in the center where it does absolutely nothing to protect from impacts during shipping. At least they're good about crediting for breakage so I'm not paying for broken stuff.
