It was someone on redit. No real conversation for me to jump in on and since I've never bothered making an account there I'll continue to just ignore that.
My latest video. Once you get past my ranting about how much I hate using presentation software there's some solid coffee roasting info in there.

Then end of this year or maybe early next year there's some coffee from Rwanda that's not in the US yet that I'm looking forward to bringing in.
A couple new coffees are coming soon. First up I'm expecting a coffee from Sulawesi any day now. That's almost certainly going to get roasted quite dark. After that I've found a really nice coffee from Ethiopia that I'm excited to bring in. Going out past that things are a bit less certain. I'm trying to get coffees from Costa Rica and Sumatra and that's just taking some time to sort out, and once that's figured out I'll be moving on to Brazil and decafs.
Sending out emails trying to buy some coffees. There's a small importer that I haven't purchased from yet, but I've known the owner of the company for years and she's got some really nice stuff at the moment. Another supplier that's usually very reliable for me is getting hit hard by the current supply chain difficulties that so they're trying to find out if they've got customers who are long on their positions and might be willing to let me take over some of their contracts.
New charge terminal arrived today. It's an updated model with more markings on the outside that I'm hoping help customers notice where the slot is for them to insert the card so I've decided to make that the customer facing one instead of giving the staff facing one the newer receipt printer, which I would have done had there not been customer facing improvements.
Stopped someone from buying coffee today. They wanted it shipped as a gift to someone who I just recently shipped stuff to someone who then called wanting to know if the order had gone out and cancel if it hadn't because her husband just got back from a trip with a bunch of coffee, but it had already left the building so she already has an oversupply of coffee to get through.
Got a couple more requests for presentation slides, but now I can just copy/paste the links out of a previous outgoing email. The shop has a server running Nextcloud so I'm pointing people at that. I'm also working on a short video run through of the slides and pointing people at a PeerTube channel where that will exist once it's ready. (I'll also upload it to YouTube, but it'll have ads there which pay for the PeerTube hosting)
Computer in the office suddenly decided that it should try to send email on port 25 instead of port 587. Why it randomly decided to change that setting, why that setting is hidden behind a badly labeled check box, I don't know. Dear Apple Mail on MacOS, don't break my settings and please pick a default that's sane for the year 2021.
