Today grass got put back in between the sidewalk and the street. There's still concrete barriers at the cross street so no access to my driveway, which is probably just as well because it looks like the entire contents of my next door neighbor's house has spilled into it. They didn't last long, but I won't miss having diapers left on my porch (wtf neighbors).
Happy cat is happy.

funeral stuff
Yesterday was my father's memorial service. He had a good turn out, lots of people had stories to tell. Today he was entombed at the cemetery. Honor Guard was at both events (he was drafted during Vietnam). Got to spend some time with some family members I don't see often enough. I'll be glad to go back to wearing comfy shoes.
If I wrote a blog post called "How to Win at @chest_bot " would anybody use that to knock me out of 1st place?

What's getting transcoded now is the all new episode of Roast Profile Development, this time focusing on two coffees from Burundi and in particular going into a lot of depth on the one that I take to a dark roast, but the real point is the product development process that guides these roasting decisions. There's stuff here that can be applied by anybody who roasts coffee.
I recorded the latest video in WQHD resolution, so I guess I'll find out how my PeerTube installation at https://video.typica.us/ deals with that (should be fine). It handles 4K just fine. Still need to upgrade that server. It's running out of storage space and another core would be nice to speed up the transcoding jobs.
